It is true = I like music from the 60's and 70's not to mention country and well that just is not a luxury on current radio stations - Rcently I happen to be looking for an Angel game on AM radio and stumbled across AM 790, KABC talk radio. OH MY G*D! This station kicks ass. I have not turned from the radio station in two weeks. I thought I would grow tired of it in a day or so - but being an EX Howard Stern junkie and a closet Tom Lykiss listener - I was like "holly cow - I can actually learn something about the world and politics" since I am so intelectually void of current events.
In the morning - I get a bit frustrated when I get to work in 10 minutes cause by then McIntyre in the morning has just started getting good. Earlier this week - I literally took the long way home casue I think Larry Elder is just the King of Cool, and I totally jive with his views. NOW - I don't always agree with all of their stands on certain topics - but I really enjoy listening to something other than Shakira, Gwen Stefani or that hogbreathe team in the morning on Star 98.7. I actually think I am learning some interesting points of views on things like, the alleged Duke case, Immigration, Bush's administration and the war.
Being politcal is fun - and well at least I'll know what people are talking about at the next happy hour at the Toth's (inside joke).

Gina, went to the Opera last night to see Aida, wow that was long, glad they had the translation on the marquee. Had dinner at Mastro's awesome place.
